Namaskaram to respected members: Jai Sri Rama. One respected elderly person told me that if you do Gayatri Japa (like sahasra every day or more) then there will be a glow on your face. No body will try to fight with you for no reason. For my own inspiration I would like to ask learned members on how long will it take to get such a glow and number 2, how do you identifiy a person who has such a glow (for example, how will I know if I got the glow. THis is not for display purpose but for inspiration purpose which will make me do even more and with more concentration). Please dont think this as a silly question since I would like to derive inspiration from the learnings and experiences of learned people in this forum.

According to santana dharma man is supposed to follow his dharma .For Brahmins it is mandatory to do sandhyavandanam three times in a day.People are attributing different reasons for skipping this.To correct this Kanchi acharya has suggested to do sahastra gayatri japam in absence of sandhyavandanam. When a person is focussed gayatri mata will channelize our positive energy levels.this will be reflected as glow on your face. Each person has to experience by himself.contionous practice is required.Concentration, inspiration, experiences will automatically follow.

In our Sanatana dharma , nothing is generalised. Everything depends on a persons previous karma. So a person with little sadhana in this life may attain great tejas and more ekagrata in upasana marga due to his austerity in the previous janma. As a man matures spiritually , he may be a Muslim or christian also, he will develop tejas. So it depends on the person's spiritual progress. Not only gayathri Japam, but the all-round spiritual activity like devotion, development of Atma gunas, celibacy etc will give brahmabalam to person. Gayathri , the supreme of our vaidika mantras will burn the sins of the past, gives a man the sradha towards dharma and in turn improves the Brahma bala of a person which is reflected in his aura. There will be no difficulty in recognising such a person. Even a person without religious inclinations can observe the peace and lokottara radiance In their face.
