Dear Members,
Namaskaram.
We are pleased to bring you Volume No 26 of our ebook series. Most of our readers are aware of our efforts to bring out regular ebooks which are designed to protect and nourish our age old traditions, culture, devotion and spirituality.
This edition – Volume 26 - is a wonderful ebook compiled by Shri Cnu Pne, one of our respected members, who has been associated with our Forum for a long time with his wonderful contributions. It is only appropriate that his compilation is getting the due recognition with the release on an Anusham day – Sep 2, 2014.
This ebook is an outstanding collation of information pertaining to three special Hindu deities who are inextricably linked with one common thread – Dharma. Lord Rama, Goddess Mahalakshmi and Lord Sastha (also known as Ayyappa) are these three special deities.
While Lord Rama remains a personification of Dharma (the saying goes – Ramo Vigrahavaan Dharmah), Goddess Mahalakshmi who is the source of Artha (or Wealth) follows those who are treading the path of Dharma (we know the order of the series – Dharma-Artha-Kaama-Moksha). Lord Sastha or Ayyappa again lived an exemplary, dharmic life – a very short lived one, in which he showed by example why it is important to stick to Dharma, and how Dharma can in turn protect those who protect it (Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitah).
The author of this book, Shri cnupne, is one of the very well-known members of our community and is an avid blogger who is also very skilled in creating nice images and photo posts. His major hobby is to stay connected to various satsangs and continue his contribution to the society with his wonderful posts and image works. We would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to Shri Cnu Pne for coming forward and sharing this wonderful treasure with our community.
On behalf of this Forum and our respected members, I would also like to specially thank our moderator Smt Sumi, who has so skillfully compiled the works of Shri Cnu Pne along with the discourses of Periva, and helped us to bring this title out for Anusham.
We humbly submit this e-book edition at the lotus feet of Sri Maha Periva. Though this book is for restricted circulation among like-minded members of the society, this is a free publication like all our other publications, which can be downloaded from www.periva.proboards.com/.
