Dear Members We are very glad to share with you this special song on Periva, composed for this Aradhana by the Administrator of this Forum, with the blessings of His Holiness. As a matter of fact, one morning just as I was completing my Pooja rituals, the song "Harivarasanam" suddenly sparked up in my mind without any reason whatsoever. And immediately there was an internal drive to write a composition on the same raga pattern for our Periva. He just made me dream of that and started giving me the words as well, which I dutifully wrote down. Am more than happy to admit that I do not know much of Sanskrit nor do I have much knowledge of music or meter, but still the whole Sanskrit song was done within about 15 minutes. Though the verses were internally pouring for more than about ten paragraphs, I thought of sticking to the usual Ashtakam type and stopped with the best selections there. We are likely to have this sung today at the Aradhana event in Abhiramapuram too, and I wanted to share this delicious song with all of you as well, on this great day. Click here to download the song lyrics (all set in English with the closest pronunciation pattern) so everyone can virtually read and sing.

Yes Shri kahanam, this is a very divine song indeed. What a blessing to be able to write such nice verses in such a short span of time. This song was sung at the Aradhana event at Abhiramapuram today by two little children. Our Administrator will shortly share some pictures taken at the event.
