The Vishnu Sahasranamam containing 142 verses is extracted from the 149th Chapter of the Anusasanika Parvan of the Mahabharata, in the dialogue between Bheesma and Yudhistra. It is held in great veneration not only in India but also in different parts of the world. Millions of people recite it - some know its great value and some are ignorant. Miraculous virtues are attributed to it as assured by the author Vyasa himself.
Recitation of the Vishnu Sahasranamam is considered conducive to spiritual progress as Sri Adi Sankara himself chose to write the Bhasyam (commentary) for it. Unlike many other complex rituals, recitation of Vishnu Sahasranamam requires no elaborate preparation or special qualifications on the part of the devotee.

I would like to hear if any of our learned members read Sri Adi Sankara's Bhasyam on Vishnu Sahasranamam? If so, where can I get this Bhasyam?
