Sri Kanchi Maha Periva Thiruvadigal CharanamWelcome to the Kanchi Periva Forum, a forum intended for the devotees of Sri Kanchi Maha Periva. Thank you for registering with us. We launched www.periva.org - a non-commercial website on the 21st Dec 2011, on the 18th Aradhana day of Sri Maha Periva and reached a sizeable subscriber base of over 300 members within 20 days of the launch, with the blessings of Sri Maha Periva. In order to manage the group discussions better, we recently launched this forum www.periva.proboards.com. This forum has well organized boards for different categories of topics, and will be a better avenue for exchanging your thoughts and messages. This forum does not belong to any network, corporate nor is affiliated to any institution – it is purely for spreading the life and teachings of Sri Maha Periva. We request you to read the guidelines posted in the General Board before you proceed further with the other sections. May Periva shower His blessings on all of us to sustain and develop this vibrant satsang group. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact us on kanchiperiva@gmail.comThanks, www.periva.org[glow=red,2,300]Jaya Jaya Sankara, Hara Hara Sankara[/glow]

Good message! Thru this forum, we (especially persons settled in north india) have come to know lot of information on Sri Maha Periva, than what we actually knew about him. This is a good attempt and I not only congratulate the office bearers for this venture, but also pray the Almighty to continue to Bless them in all their efforts in this direction. Jaya jaya sankara, hara hara sankara!

This is a wonderful site and the moderators and creators need to be commended on doing a great and noble job.
May Paramacharya's blessings shine on you.
I have a small request though. What will it take to ensure that anything posted in Tamil gets an English translation without fail? This is for the benefit of all Tamil challenged devotees like me.
Please look into this if it is possible to hire professional translators and I am willing to contribute towards those expenses. I apologize for talking about money on such a wonderful site but I feel really sad about missing out on all those Tamil only posts.
I request the moderators to take this request up and check the feasibility.
Thanks, Ranga N.

Dear Shri Ranga, Thanks for your note. We have already worked on this point, and a few of our moderators like Smt Sumi, Sri Saidevo, Sri Anusham163 are already doing this action of translating tamil posts and getting them on to the English boards. It is possible that a few of them have not been done yet, but it would eventually get covered. It is only with Periva's blessings that we have such committed souls who are doing this divine service (which would take enormous time) for no charge or fee. They are doing it for the love and bhakti they have for our Paramacharya. You may hence hope that we will have it all covered soon. Thans for including me in the forum. I an ex-IDBI VRS optee running one yajur veda patasala at madambakkam, chennai for the past 10 years. so far 5 students have completed their Krama pata course and pursuing Gana patam course now. Three more students are studying in our veda patasala. Both acharyas are guiding me in my work. I have constructed a house Periyava Illam for our Paramacharya and his successors. I am interested to be associated with any work related to our paramacharya. I released an english and tamil version of Deivathin Kural extracts with Maha Periyava's photos in 1994 and it was translated into many other languages including chinese, mandarin, russian, hindi, sindhi etc.(In Tamil it was "Arul Mugam 50 Arul Amudham 50" and in English it was "Divine Faces 50 and Divine Nectar 50". Englishversion is available in Kamakoti.org. Pl advise me on any of your noble work for which i may be of some use. Prakash
