Dear forum members, I want to share my painful yet successful temple visit which is a proof for the saying "where there is will there is way" and all my temple visits are based on the prayers of Kanchi Periyavar. In one of the experience shared in this forum Kanchi Periyavar have advised one devotee to visit Trichy Akhilandeshwari temple and have a keen look at the goddess earrings and pray,I really wondered what is the special about the goddess hence I was longing to visit the temple for so many years which happened this Monday(19.11.18). Here my journey goes: suddenly as I had to visit cuddalore on personal work instead of my father, so I decided to visit both Akhilandeshwari amman temple as well as Chidambaram natarajar temple. When I said this idea to my father he said both are not possible so he told me go directly to Chidambaram and then to cuddalore as I had to travel alone from Hosur & return back on the same night. I took bus to Salem at 12.30 midnight & reached @ 4 a.m. there I saw immediate bus to trichy so without any second thought I boarded the bus & reached trichy around 6.30 a.m. & reached the tempĺe @7 a.m. after buying archana tamboolam which is available at the temple entrance, I don't know anyone there , so not familiar with pooja timings or anything about the temple, just entred Akhilandeshwari Amman sannidhi with tamboolam but felt sad as the doors were closed, then a priest came behind me said go inside & wait ok I went, within 5 minutes the doors were opened from inside with one priest & another performed Mangalarthi to the goddess I was stunned to see it everybody near me chanted in loud voice and prayed the goddess, an old man may be 80 years old shedding tears during Mangalarthi can't explain in words such a divine moment which gave goose bumps. I thought of Kanchi Periyavar at that moment. After Mangalarthi they allowed the devotees inside, I had very good darshan of Goddess Akhilandeshwari. After this when I entered Jambukeshwar sannidhi, I was surprised seeing the water running below Shivalingam which the Priest showed the devotees standing there. I know it is one of the panchabootha sthalam but after seeing water running below the Lord I was stunned, it's a must visit temple, here I thank Kanchi Periyavar & my parents who looked after my 3 and a half years old twins carefully that day otherwise this temple visit wouldn't have been possible. It was 7.30 a.m. when I came to the entrance & enquired the shopkeeper as how to reach bus stand he gave shocking reply as it may take upto 2 hrs to reach trichy bus stand by bus so he told me to go by taxi or auto so that can reach within 20 minutes so I took an auto to save time & reach Chidambaram natarajar temple. I got the bus exactly at 8a.m but reached Chidambaram at 1.30 p.m. when the temple was closed, I didn't lose my heart and went to cuddalore on my personal work which was over by 4.45 p.m.then I should have actually taken thiruvannamalai bus to reach hosur that night itself but I asked my parents what shall I do now then they said no prob u go to Chidambaram temple and then come back, we'll take care of kids. Then immediately I took bus to Chidambaram around 5 p.m. & reached the temple around 6.30 p.m while I entered I heard melam sound so walked quickly, Mangalarthi was going and continuously pooja's were being performed, I had very good darshan of Lord Natarajar and spent almost 20 minutes there itself still different arathi's were being performed but I have to leave to Goddess Sivagama Sundari sannidhi so left from there after taking vibuthi theertam then had good darshan in Amman sannidhi as there was no crowd. When I enquired about the special Puja & homam which was performed that day to a lady, she said it is karthigai somavaram so special puja's are done. I was really happy with darshan of two panchabootha sthalangal that day despite of my back pain and reached back home safely at 4 a.m. We have visited Kanchi Ekambareshwarar temple as well as Thiruvannamalai temple many times but couldn't visit other 3 panchabootha sthalangal which I regretted, but now I visited two temples out of it. Feeling very good after visiting both the temples. Kamakshi Amman and Kanchi Periyavar are like my family deities and my entire life is based on the faith & prayers on them only which turns impossible to possible.
