Dear all, I have a doubt regarding the way we keep vibhudhi or thiruneer and kungumam, some say kungumam should be above thiruneer while some say streak of kungumam should be below thiruneer on the forehead,so which is the correct way to keep and if someone could explain me the meanings of vibhudhi or kungumam it will very well clarify my doubts. Harahara shankara!! Jaya Jaya Shankara!!

Dear karthika,
According to what i know, i am writing this.
Puruva mathiyil, that is between two eyebrows, we have a point. Where all our body nerves join.
In that place to keep kumkumum, because it prevent positive energy from going out, and negative energy from entering in. If that place is filled with kumkumum, people who are professionals in mesmerising, cannot do it. Vasiyam panna mudiyathu.
Vibhuti vaikka karanam. 1. Bhagawane unnai ninaithu idukinren.
2.to remind us we are born, living now, will become ash someday. So to make the in between time useful
3. Due to sinus water retention will be there inside the head. Vibhuti will absorb excess water. 4.ladies wear thilagam.pottu. You can apply vibhuti over that
Vibhthi, thilagam, kumkumum idellam vatcha parkave kai yeduthu kumbida thonum.
I think i cleared your doubt. Nice question asked by you. Thank you

Namaskaram,
Periyava has clarified on this aspect. Vibhuthi is always on top. Kumkumam is below. Also kunkumam is applied just above the point between the two eyebrows so as not to block the flow in the Agna chakras.
Hara Hara Sankara Jaya Jaya Sankara. Mahaperiyava Thiruvadigal Saranam.
