Special Series: Glimpses from Periva's Life History- Vol 1

Dear Members,

With the enormous kindness and grace of Sri Maha Periva, we have been publishing free ebooks each month focused on spreading the message of Hindu Tradition & Culture, embellished with Periva's thoughts on each subject that we publish about.

In addition to this, we are commencing a new series from this month - which would get published on every Anusham. This series is a special collectors' edition and a treasure for the future generations, as we are going to bring in lot of information about Sri Maha Periva and the wonderful things He has done throughout the time the God lived amidst us. The ebook also has some very appropriate and rare images of Periva.

Thanks to the brilliant and untiring efforts of our moderator Sri subi24, who is authoring this series, we have got a great Volume 1 ready and are publishing it today, being the Anusham star of July 2013. This series will also witness the birth of a Quiz program at a big level, which would be run jointly by our moderators Sri subi24 and Smt Sumi. Please await further details on this which would be shared by them here on this Forum.

We have coined some great plans to take this message of Periva's life to a large portion of the general public.If you are interested to take part in this seva as a Quiz program administrator, or if you wish to submit your feedback on the same, please write to us at: [e-mail]. Since its inception in Dec 2011, the Kanchi Periva Forum has been actively engaged in disseminating the teachings of the Living God, Sri Maha Periva.

In addition to Periva's upanyasams in Tamil and English in the Deivathin Kural and Dharma Sastra boards in the Forum, we have been also spreading HIS teachings through our Divine Thoughts Series and also our monthly E-books. We are active on Facebook as well.

Our mission has been to reach out to all devotees of the Mahaswami across the globe in any way possible so as to take His valuable and precious life lessons far and wide.

Now, with the blessings of His Holiness, we are launching a Quiz program to motivate devotees of the Mahaswami to know more about the Life and teachings of our Paramaguru.

The First Quiz program will be based on the E-book that we last published - Glimpses from Periva's Life History- Vol 1

Please read the book in detail so that you can answer the questions with ease. This will be an Online Quiz program which will be held every month. We encourage you to also involve the children at your home to read this E-book and take part in the Quiz. It will be a great opportunity for them to know about our Mahaswami.

We also have plans to take this Quiz program to a larger audience - specially to the younger generation in schools and colleges, and also to the general public.

We invite Quiz Administrators who will be interested in organizing this Quiz program in their own locality - India or Overseas. We will provide the reading material and the Question Bank. All you would have to do is to gather interested youngsters in your locality and conduct the Quiz competition every month. This will be a great service.

The Society is in turmoil almost across the globe, and many a time we can see that it is because people are not leading a dharmic way of life. The seed we sow now will bear fruits in future. It is hence important that we motivate the younger generation to learn Periva's teachings so that they will hold on to His Lotus feet and become civilized citizens of the society, sticking to the dharmic way of life, come what may.

As we know, Periva's initiatives in spreading Thirupaavai and Thiruvenpaavai created a mega transformation in the society. We hope that with His Blessings, this initiative will also be an eye opener for many, especially to those who do not know much about the Paramacharya.

Every Hindu must know the greatness of the Great Saint of our time, and all the initiatives that we are taking from the Forum is in that direction only.

Please await the first set of the Questions shortly. As mentioned already, the questions will be based on the E-book that we last published. You can submit the answers online.
