Male birth

In another forum Tamilbrahmins i read that there is a difference of 24 lakhs janmas between a male and female birth i.e. male has taken 24 lakh more births to get get that birth as male. Is it true? in which Rishi's shastra it is mentioned? It is anywhere in seven volumes of Smiriti Muktha Palam (Vaidyanathadeekshithiyam) brought out by Kanchi Mutt? If yes, then in which volume? Or am I talking nonsense? Humble request to sisters not to get annoyed as it is just a clarification.

Dear member amdharan - welcome to this Satsang.

This could probably be an interesting question for debate but does not warrant a detailed look in. We can be sure of just one thing - if we use our current janma (birth) to the best and maximize our devotion to Sri Maha Periva and surrender unto Him, we can certainly get rid of our past karma and look forward to Moksha.

Let us focus all our attention towards this noble goal - you can be sure of one thing - for every single step you take towards Him, He will take five steps towards you and come down to bless you.
