Namaskaram Sri Shankar snpv1981 . We will be very happy to have as many devotees as possible attending the Pooja. Would be great if they can stay on to have lunch and be present for the evening program as well. We will be reaching out to few volunteers who registered using the online form for any assistance in coordination. This would happen on Friday 24th May - we had more than 70 people volunteering to assist, for which we are grateful to all of you. However, we would be drawing random lots of names and getting about 10 people to help out in the program. Hope this helps. Thanks.

Dear Members, We are pleased to inform you that the Periva Jayanthi Celebrations went on wonderfully, as the sign of yet another miracle by our Periva. From a mere thought or desire of conducting a Laksharchana which came up only less than a month of the event, to a grand event in a huge hall attended by more than 400 people in two different sessions, aptly supported with excellent discourses and presentations - it was nothing short of a miracle. We must also make a specific mention of the outstanding voluntary contributions from our members - like those of Sri Sriram, Sri S Sriniavasan, Sri Anantha Ramakrishnan, Sri N Subramanian, Sri Balasubramanian and countless other members who volunteered to assist in the program and in preparation of flowers for offering to Periva. It all happened like clockwork, and everything just fell in place on its own - with members automatically falling into a line when the time came to perform Pushpanjali to Periva. None of these would have been possible except with the great support and organization of the Dharma Paripalana Sabha. Ably headed by Sri Srinivasa Rao, and with excellent support from other committee members/office bears like Sri Ram, Sri Ravi Kumaran, Sri Venkataraman, Sri Kalyana Sundaram, Dr Sri Anantha Padmanabhan, Sri Sairam and others, they conducted the entire event with great commitment and devotion, which finally turned out to be a great treat to all Periva devotees. Since we were fully occupied with the events and organization, we could not even stop by to take photos or recordings but some of our respected members have taken quite a few photos which are likely to come in today. We will also have the photos from the official photographer coming later in the day, which will collate in to an album and share for your views later today or on Monday. All devotees who attended the morning session were blessed with Periva's naivedya prasadam (literally "Kalyaana Saappaadu" - thanks to the popular caterer Sri Chellappa) and in the evening, everyone got naivedya prasadam laddoos (thanks to the popular caterer Sri Arusuvai Natarajan). Each of devotees were also given an individual prasadam cover with a nice photo of Periva and a personal copy of the DVD containing Periva's rare video footage (Paarthukittae Irukka Thonuthu song - which is available on our website http://www.periva.org). All attendees in the morning also got the various abhisheka prasadams regularly during the day - like Milk, Ganga Jalam, Vibhuti, Panchamrutham and more, as and when the abhishekams were getting over. The event was blessed by the Acharyas of the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam, who had provided us with Periva's Sahasra Naamavali and also sent over copies of small booklets containing Periva's discourses, which were freely distributed to the devotees present in the morning session. The evening session also attracted a lot of crowd, who were enthralled by the brilliant discourse of Vaithikasri editor, "Veda Vidyaalankara" Nannilam Sri Rajagopala Ghanapatigal. At this moment, we are posting just one photo of the Vigraham of Maha Swami to which all Abhishekams were performed, and we will be posting a detailed album later today or on Monday. We would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to all of our members, the financial contributors to the event, the members who were present in the event, the members of Dharma Paripalana Sabha, Sri Nannilam Rajagopala Ghanapatigal and everyone else who made this event one to remember for ages to come. We offer our prayers at the Holy feet of Sri Maha Periva, and seek His blessings to organize many more such events in the days to come. We also invite the feedback or thoughts of our members who attended the event - please feel free to post your views in this thread.

Dear Members, We are pleased to post some more photos now, and you can expect to see the rest shortly. In the meantime, we would like to share another miraculous incident which we witnessed today. The event which concluded yesterday is in itself nothing short of a miracle, but today's was even better. We drove down this afternoon to Kanchipuram to have Periva's darshan and take His blessings, after submitting the details of the event. We were at Orikkai by 0330 PM, had a wonderful darshan there and then visited Periva temple at Pradosham mama's place. Having completed that, we came to Sri Matam and had darshan at Adishtanam by about 0530 PM. We submitted details of the celebration in front of His Holiness, and prayed for the universal well being. We also specifically prayed for some rain showers, as it was also mentioned by Sri Rajagopala Ghanapatigal in his Upanyaasam that as an acknowledgement of the good conduct of the event, we can expect a short rainfall at least within the next 3-4 days. However, it was real scorching hot in Kanchipuram until that point and then we left the Sri Matam to go and have darshan of Kamakshi. While we drove to Kamakshi temple, we stopped by the house of our guide and well wisher Sri Kalyanapuram Vaidyanathan to have a quick chat and update him about the event. He has been a great source of inspiration to us, and has been a source of various materials including rare photos of Periva. More recently, when we were running around to organize a nice vigraham of Periva for abhishekam, he is the one who came to our rescue by providing this unique marvelous vigraham of Periva, a photo of which was shared in the earlier thread. To put it short, every one needs a God sent angel to achieve some great things - and Sri Vaidyanathan has been Periva's own messenger and our close guide for all these years. Now, while we were talking to Sri Vaidyanathan, suddenly the television signals went off, and sitting inside the house, we felt that this was probably a technical problem and we decided we will take a walk to Kamakshi temple and come back. We step out to the door and see a sudden, heavy downpour of rain (which had caused the signal problem with the set top box as well)- the surprise is that until about 5 minutes back, when we submitted our prayers at Sri Periva's Adishtanam and drove to this residence, it was blazing hot wind and enormous heat in Kanchipuram. Not an inch of coolness or no real indication of any rain coming up until we left the Sri Matam too, but within 5 minutes, the whole situation had changed, and we could not step out of Sri Vaidyanathan's residence now as it was raining virtually cats and dogs. We borrowed some umbrellas to take a quick walk to Kamakshi temple and had a wonderful darshan as well, while enjoying the better than air conditioned climate which was conjured up in no time, compared to the piping hot steam which was present few minutes back. We took it as the real Anugraha Varsham of Sri Maha Periva - His own style of blessing us, and having heard our prayers too. This has happened just today, and every single person in Kanchipuram can tell you how hot and humid it was until this evening, about 0600 PM and how the showers came in all of a sudden. This is yet another incident which proved that there is virtually no limit to the kindness and grace of our Periva, and how quickly he can change things around for His devotees. We invite all of you to place your lives in the hands of His Holiness and request His intervention & guidance for carrying on a better and more purposeful life. He will surely shower His blessings on the really committed ardent devotees and guide them to the path of ultimate salvation - you don't need a better and more convincing evidence than today's happening!
