Dear Members,
Namaskaram from the Kanchi Periva Forum community.
We are extremely fortunate and lucky to be publishing this special edition ebook on Sri Kamakaoti Seshadri Swamigal. This book came as an unscheduled surprise collation by one of our respected members Sri Sridhar Thiagarajan who was inspired to do this translation by the works of our respected moderator Sri Narayanan Bala (anusham163). There are many interesting coincidences with us getting this book out, and especially on this particular date. Sri Seshadri Swamigal is praised by our Maha Periva as sakshaat-Ambaal Swaroopam. And we are lucky to get this book out at the start of Navaratri, which is our special way of worshipping Ambaal.
Also, Sri Seshadri Swamigal avataram happened in the Hastam star (Nakshatram), and we are publishing this book on one such day - when Hasta Nakshatram is present and ruling. It is also another interesting thing to note that Sri Swamigal is noted for His wonderful blessing across Tiruvannamalai – he is known as the one with “Golden Hand” which translates to “Swarna Hastam” – appears that He came down to earth on the Hastam nakshatram to indicate this too.
This book is a wonderful treasure for all devotees of Sri Maha Periva and of Sri Seshadri Swamigal at the same time, as we have good collection of insight and information about Sri Swamigal which would have otherwise remained unknown. Full credit for bringing out this information goes to the great writer – Sri Baraneedharan. More than just being an acclaimed, prolific writer, he is an extremely humble human being and is an ardent devotee of Sri Maha Periva.
Our special thanks to Sri Narayanan Bala (anusham163) for having spent so much of time in supporting and encouraging Sri Sridhar Thiagarajan to come out with this title – in fact, Sri anusham163 has spent lot of time in reviewing the translation and helping to make it better, aside from providing us his beautiful paintings to be used in this ebook. Our sincere thanks and namaskarams to both Sri Baraneedharan and Sri Narayanan Bala for this outstanding effort.
On behalf of this Forum and our respected members, I would also like to specially thank Sri Sridhar Thiagarajan, and pray to Periva to bless him such that he can come out with lot more interesting works in the future as well. We humbly submit this e-book edition at the lotus feet of Sri Maha Periva.
