Thank you Smt durgaramprasad. We are happy with the kind of interesting activity that is happening on the Forum everyday. This Forum is run by devotees like you. Generally an open Forum of this size would invite contradictory views from devotees on various matters and the Admin has to keep a vigil on the happenings to moderate posts. But since the last four years, we have had only a handful of such instances and the rest of all the discussions and deliberations have been very healthy. Many of us administrators managing the Forum do not even login everyday and if we do it is only to answer a query here and there. Otherwise, it is you members and devotees who are literally running this Forum. This clearly shows that it is indeed HIS Holiness who is directing everything and it is purely HIS grace that this Forum has grown to such magnitude and continues to grow steadily. We are aware that not all 4000 members read our posts everyday and most of the time, it is the experiences of devotees which members are more inclined to read rather than Upadesams of Periva. There is a reason for this too. All of us irrespective of our status have our own shares of troubles, worries and anxieties. Such experiences of other devotees gives us the reassurance that there is one Nadamadum Deivam who will answer our prayers if we surrender ourselves to him. But, we must slowly come out of this and seek HIM more. The Deivathin Kural is the comman's man's Veda. There is a solution in it for every query we have - be it in our worldly life or otherwise. Periva's upadesams must get deeply imbibed in our mind so much so that even if someone wakes you from sleep, you should be able to quote HIM. This is the reason we continue to include Periva's upadesams in our regular mailers along with experiences and other things. This is not an entertainment forum where we have to give what people want, but rather we have to give what people Need. This is the purpose and mission of the Forum and with HIS grace, we will continue to maintain its sanctity. If you are active on any popular social media sites, you will agree with me that next to political news and discussions, it is "quotes" on life in general which is liked by people and shared. This is because each of us can relate such quotes and sayings to our own state of mind. Clearly, all of us have one desire - to live in peace and happiness and we are easily attached to something which will give us that. This is also the reason why some modern gurus are flourishing and doing good business. They are simply capitalizing on our thirst and quest to come out of our troubles. So, there are different views by different so called Gurus which will leave the common man bewildered, especially if he is already in distress. Periva has said that liberation must be our ultimate thought, and all the rituals and pooja we do everyday will lead us to that. Each one of us should consider ourselves extremely fortunate that we are under the loving care and watchful eye of the Mahaswami. When you surrender yourselves to Him completely, it it HIS duty to take care of you. It is important that we believe and have faith in this. It has happened to me a number of times - just that HIS way of putting me on the correct path is very harsh. There is so much pain and agony, but then I think I deserve it and promise Him I will not do the mistake again. If the misery is too big to handle, I make a visit to HIS brindavan at Kanchi and when I sit in HIS presence for a while, and pour my heart out, all the sufferings and misery just vanishes! I become a charged person all of a sudden! Remember, HE will only correct you - sometimes lightly, sometimes harshly, but will never let you down! This faith is very important and the other reason am writing this long post is that we are surrounded by Godmen of various kinds who give us various upadesams. It is very easy for a troubled mind to get distracted and wonder what is the right path. As devotees of Periva, we have HIS sayings in Deivathin Kural which we must turn to when in doubt. You will find your solution there. Periva says that when God is angry, we can turn to the Guru to speak on our behalf, but when the Guru himself is angry, there is nothing you can do. We have made it easy for Periva's upadesams to reach all of you through our Divine Thoughts Series. There are 365 quotes taken from all seven volumes of Deivathin Kural. Please make it your duty to read all of them and get them registered in your mind. Read them also to the children in your family. Let HIS benevolent grace protect and guide us. Jaya Jaya Shankara, Hara Hara Shankara! Iam smt. Durga Ramprasad Sonti. Iam blessed to be in this group. I totally believe in paramacharya. With his blessings iam here. Jaya Jaya shankara Hara Hara shankara

Vanakkam everybody...i stumbled upon this site and ever since I have been following this. It just occurred to me that I've been reading the experiences part as though I would read a ramayan. Sundarakantam etc. This forum is a great eyeopener for people like me who were not lucky enough to be infront of the greatest soul which the 20th century witnessed. I am sure Periavas blessings will be in abundance with all the people who made possible this forum.

Namaskaram, and welcome to the Forum. This place of worship (satsang) has been growing every day with excellent articles and posts contributed by a lot of our members. While the experiences part would certainly be very interesting to read, we invite you to spend more time on the Dharma Sastra & Deivathin Kural boards as well - which bring forth lot of things Sri Maha Periva want us to adopt and follow. He would be more pleased by each of us adopting at least one small value from his teachings than by all of us reading the experiences a thousand times over and over again. We are hopeful that you would find a positive life-changing place of worship in this vibrant satsang, and welcome your contributions to keep it alive & clean as well. Thank you.
