Meera Bhajan True Bhakti or devotion is that condition of a devotee’s mind when it is unable to bear even a moment’s separation from the shelter of God, and when even if is forcibly withdrawn from that shelter, by force of circumstances, it struggles and rushes back and attaches itself to God, like a needle to a magnet.

Maha periava thiruvadigal charanam.
Yes, it is quite true. We, all living beings are iron pieces, while God is a big magnet. If we go close to him by bakthi, He will rapidlly catch us and immense in Him. It is the real syncronisation of Geevatma and Paramatma. JAYA JAYA SHANKARA HARA HARA SHANKARA

Many of you might have heard this Meera Bhajan melodiously sung by the great M.S. Subbulakshmi. M.S. acted as Meera and sang the songs in the 1947 Hindi film Meerabai. The lyrics of Meera Bhajans are in a dialect of Hindi spoken in Rajasthan where Meera lived. This particular Bhajan music shows Meera's utter humility and the depth of her Bhakti to Lord Krishna.
mane chakar rakho jee, chakar rakho jee sanwaliya mane chakar rakho jee mane chakar rakho jee, chakar rakho jee sanwaliya mane chakar rakho jee chakar rah too babul ga too, nisdin darshan pa too brindapan kee kunj galee me, teree lila ga too Meaning: Lord Girdhari (Krishna), make me your servant. As your servant, I will plant a garden, and see you every day. In the groves and lanes of Brindavan, I will sing about your plays. Jaya Jaya Sankara Hara Hara Sankara
