OM SRI GURUPYO NAMAHA,RESPECTFUL PRANAMS TO SRI KANCHI MAHA PERIVA

Awareness of God
When sastras teach the sacred knowledge of God, they emphasise that learning in this context is an intuitive experience. The guru-sishya tradition has been successful in the transmission of the teacher’s insights to the deserving disciple who imbibes along with the knowledge the teaching methodology as well, pointed out Swami Omkarananda in a discourse.
Krishna shows how His Nirguna and Saguna forms are two essential sides of His infinite nature. The Nirguna state is characterised by formlessness and absence of gunas; the Saguna state reveals God as compassionate and as the repertoire of all auspicious qualities and as one who incarnates time and again to establish dharma. These two forms cannot be dissociated from one another, just as fire and its capacity to burn cannot be delinked or whiteness separated from milk. The Sun reveals many objects and beings through its light, but it has no connection or association with any of them. This is the case with the self in the jivatma which is of the essence of existence, consciousness and bliss, and which remains distinct from the body-mind-complex while enabling it to function.
When watching television, the viewer is fascinated by the happenings he sees and does not remember the screen. Similarly when one sees the material world, one is captivated by the name, form and function in these and easily forgets the fundamental support of all these: the Lord. But one has to learn to see God everywhere and in everything and know for oneself this truth. The Isa Vasya says that the entire universe is a manifestation of God. “In the heart of all things of whatever there is in the universe dwells the Lord. He alone is the reality. ”
